Driver with Forged Licences Stopped in Chernihiv Oblast: Two Fake Documents Bought Online

Yesterday, at around 10:00 a.m., traffic inspectors at the Kipti patrol police road station stopped a Haval vehicle. The driver was a 45-year-old man. While checking his documents, officers noticed signs of forgery on the licence he presented. A search of the National Police's unified database confirmed that no document matching the stated series and number existed in the system. The man did not deny the forgery and told police he had bought the document online. He then produced a second licence, which also turned out to be fake. Patrol officers called in an investigator, who seized both documents for further examination and to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Police remind the public that a driver's licence is an official confirmation of the right to operate a motor vehicle and must be obtained exclusively through lawful channels.
