Emergency Water Shutdown on Oleksandra Dovhacha Street, 10

A burst water main has left residents of a nine-storey building at 10 Oleksandra Dovhacha Street without water supply since August 29. Repairs are expected to be completed by September 5, 2026.

On August 29, 2026, at 11:10 a.m., the municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal shut off the water supply to 10 Oleksandra Dovhacha Street following a rupture in a 100 mm diameter water main. The outage has affected the nine-storey residential building at that address. Emergency repair crews are currently working at the site of the break. The work is scheduled to be completed by September 5, 2026. During the shutdown, drinking water will be delivered to residents by tanker.
