Chernihiv City Council Executive Committee Approves Payments Totalling Over 1 Million Hryvnias for Residents

On 28 August, the Executive Committee of Chernihiv City Council approved financial assistance for families of fallen defenders, compensation for memorial monuments, and reimbursement for damaged housing.

On 28 August 2024, the Executive Committee of Chernihiv City Council approved payments exceeding one million hryvnias to various categories of city residents. The funds are distributed across the following areas: — 12 family members of fallen Ukrainian defenders will receive a total of 706,172 hryvnias; — 7 individuals will receive compensation for the production and installation of grave monuments, totalling 140,000 hryvnias; — 4 residents of multi-storey apartment buildings will receive 40,000 hryvnias; — 10 owners of private residential houses will receive 130,000 hryvnias. The total amount of approved payments comes to over 1,016,172 hryvnias.
