Chernihiv Oblast Military Recruitment Officer Suspected of Faking Mobilization of 21 Men

Police have notified a district military recruitment center official of suspicion after he allegedly entered false information about the conscription of at least 21 men into military service.

Law enforcement authorities in Chernihiv Oblast have served a suspicion notice to an official of a district Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SS). According to investigators, the official fictitiously "mobilized" at least 21 men of conscription age by entering false data into official documents indicating they had been called up for military service. In reality, none of the individuals were ever enrolled in the personnel lists of any military unit. The official now faces a potential prison sentence of up to six years for the alleged crime.
