Emergency water shutdown on Myru Avenue leaves six buildings without supply

A burst water main at 153 Myru Avenue has cut off water supply to six residential buildings since 23 August 2026. Repairs are expected to be completed by 30 August.

On 23 August 2026 at 7:30 p.m., the municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal shut off water supply following a rupture in a 63 mm diameter water main at 153 Myru Avenue. Residents of the following multi-storey apartment buildings have been left without water: — 147 Myru Avenue (2nd floor); — 153 Myru Avenue (3rd floor); — 155 Myru Avenue (3rd floor); — 157 Myru Avenue (3rd floor); — 159 Myru Avenue (3rd floor); — 161 Myru Avenue (3rd floor). Chernihivvodokanal is organising drinking water deliveries to the affected addresses. Repair work is scheduled for completion by 30 August 2026.
