A Ten-Metre Ukrainian Flag Unfurled Near St. Catherine's Cathedral in Chernihiv

On the eve of Ukraine's Flag Day, students and teachers from School No. 25 created and unfurled a ten-metre blue-and-yellow flag near St. Catherine's Cathedral in Chernihiv.

On the eve of Ukraine's Flag Day, a large blue-and-yellow flag measuring ten metres was unfurled near St. Catherine's Cathedral in the heart of Chernihiv. The flag was made by students and staff at Chernihiv General Education School No. 25. According to the school's principal, Natalia Kyrylenko, the project required 30 square metres of fabric and took nearly a week to complete. The event served as a symbolic tribute to the national holiday and a celebration of Ukraine's national colours at the centre of the city's historic district.
