Throughout the operation of school holiday camps, patrol police officers held educational sessions for children. During these meetings, pupils learned about road traffic rules, safe recreation near bodies of water, appropriate behaviour in public places, and the correct course of action in emergency situations. Beyond practical advice, the children had the opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day work of patrol officers — including the challenges police face every day and how they keep city streets safe. The sessions were held in an open, informal format, and many children were eager to ask questions and try on police equipment. The patrol officers expressed hope that the knowledge gained would help children spend their summer holidays safely and with plenty of memorable experiences.
