Enemy strike on Chernihiv kills woman and 4-year-old girl; 14-year-old hospitalized

A Russian missile strike hit Chernihiv early in the morning, destroying a private residential house. A 49-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl were killed, while a 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital.

A Russian missile strike targeted Chernihiv early this morning, setting a private residential house ablaze. The building was almost entirely destroyed by fire. Nearby outbuildings and an adjacent shop were also damaged, with a fire breaking out there as well. Three people were inside the house at the time of the strike. A 14-year-old girl was hospitalized. During search operations, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 49-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl. Chernihiv City Council extended its sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, describing the attack as yet another cynical enemy strike against the civilian population.
