Emergency water supply cutoff on Tekstylnykiv and Narodnoho Rukhu streets until August 22

Municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal suspended water supply to two addresses on Tekstylnykiv and Narodnoho Rukhu streets from 7:00 p.m. on August 15, 2026, following a burst on the water main. Restoration is expected by August 22.

In Chernihiv, an emergency rupture on a 200 mm water pipeline has forced a temporary suspension of water supply to 11-A Tekstylnykiv Street, effective from 7:00 p.m. on August 15, 2026. Business organisations located at 2 Narodnoho Rukhu Street are also left without water as a result of the incident. Restoration of supply is expected by August 22, 2026. Throughout the outage period, municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal will arrange drinking water delivery to the affected addresses.
