Chernihiv patrol officers help disoriented 77-year-old woman find her way home

On Tuesday evening, patrol officers on Peremohy Avenue assisted an elderly woman who had suffered from heat exhaustion and could not remember how to get home, safely returning her to her family.

On Tuesday, at around 9 p.m., the emergency line 102 received a call from a concerned Chernihiv resident. She reported that an elderly woman had approached her on Peremohy Avenue, saying she had overheated in the sun, had no phone with her, and could not remember the way home. A patrol crew was immediately dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, officers found a 77-year-old woman in a disoriented state and in need of assistance. Police determined her home address, drove her there, and handed her over to her daughter. The incident serves as a reminder that looking out for those around us can make a real difference.
