As part of pre-summer preventive activities, patrol police officers held a meeting with people relaxing near local bodies of water. Attendees received guidance on safe behaviour around water and were introduced to the basics of pre-medical first aid: officers demonstrated how to apply a tourniquet correctly, explained when it should be used, and outlined what steps to take before emergency medical personnel arrive. A dedicated segment of the event was focused on children. Together with the officers, young participants reviewed road traffic rules, took part in a quiz, and solved picture puzzles. Police also reminded children of the importance of wearing reflective elements when near roads or in low-light conditions. All children who took an active part in the activities received gifts — educational booklets and reflective safety tags. Police encouraged everyone to enjoy their leisure time responsibly and to follow safety rules around water.
