Park Responsibly: A Reminder on Stopping and Parking Rules

Violating parking rules creates danger for other road users and carries administrative liability under Article 122 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.

Drivers are urged to comply with the requirements of the Road Traffic Rules when choosing a place to stop or park their vehicle. A car left in violation of traffic regulations can block the movement of pedestrians and other vehicles, reduce road visibility, obstruct entry and exit points, and interfere with the operation of public and emergency transport. Drivers are advised to ensure, before leaving their vehicle, that the chosen spot meets all applicable requirements. A reminder: violations of stopping and parking rules are subject to administrative liability under Article 122 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences. In cases provided for by law, the vehicle may be temporarily impounded.
