Police officers today organised a special event for residents of a local psychological rehabilitation centre and the child of a fallen colleague. The day's programme was packed: participants rode pedal boats, jumped on trampolines, chatted with officers and soaked up plenty of positive energy. The aim of the event was to give the children a chance to step away from everyday hardships, spend time in warm company and gather new experiences. The gathering wrapped up with a treat courtesy of a local venue that joined the organisers and provided sweets for all participants. The organisers thanked everyone who helped plan and run the day, stressing that attention and shared time help children build warm memories that last a lifetime.
