Emergency water supply shutdown on Veren Street and Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Lane
Since 2:50 p.m. on July 29, 2026, residents of Veren Street (nos. 1–17) and Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Lane (nos. 1–10) have been without water following a pipe burst. Supply is expected to be restored by August 3.

On July 29, 2026, at 2:50 p.m., the municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal shut off water supply in the area due to emergency repair work on a 100 mm water main. The cause is a ground-level leak — a burst in the pipeline — located between buildings nos. 1 and 3 on Veren Street. The following addresses are affected: — Private homes on Veren Street, nos. 1 through 17; — Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Lane, nos. 1 through 10. Chernihivvodokanal will organize drinking water delivery for residents at the affected addresses. Emergency repair work is ongoing, and water supply is scheduled to be restored by August 3, 2026.
