Late last night, during the curfew, patrol officers spotted a Shineray motorcycle on Kyivska Street. After receiving a lawful order to stop, the rider refused to comply and accelerated in an attempt to flee the inspectors. The pursuit ended when the motorcyclist pulled over on Mykhailo Hrushevsky Avenue. The rider turned out to be a 19-year-old local resident. During the interaction with officers, he displayed obvious outward signs of alcohol intoxication, which a roadside test confirmed: his blood alcohol level stood at 2.58 per mille. It also emerged that the young man holds no driving licence of any category whatsoever. Patrol officers drew up administrative violation reports against him and removed him from operating the vehicle. The motorcycle was towed to a designated impound lot.
