During the spring and summer months, the number of road users on Chernihiv's streets and in residential courtyards increases significantly — including drivers, cyclists, e-scooter riders, and pedestrians. As a result, improper parking can create dangerous situations and disrupt the flow of movement for everyone. Vehicles left in violation of the rules reduce visibility at intersections and in courtyards, obstruct the passage of emergency and special-purpose vehicles — ambulances, fire trucks, and municipal services — and cause inconvenience to local residents. In warmer weather, courtyards and areas around residential buildings become active spaces where children and adults spend time outdoors. Parking responsibly helps make these shared spaces safer for everyone. Respect for traffic regulations starts with simple, everyday decisions.
