Chernihiv Oblast Bids Farewell to Two Fallen Ukrainian Defenders

Funeral ceremonies were held in Chernihiv Oblast for soldiers Oleksandr Misk and Valerii Petchenko, the latter of whom had previously been listed as missing in action.

Chernihiv Oblast has laid to rest two Ukrainian defenders — Oleksandr Misk and Valerii Petchenko. Petchenko had long been classified as missing in action, but his identity was subsequently confirmed and his remains were handed over to his family for burial. Both servicemen gave their lives defending Ukraine. The community of Chernihiv Oblast gathered to pay its final respects to the fallen heroes.
