Round Table on European Opportunities for Youth Held in Chernihiv

Ahead of Europe Day, a round table on educational exchanges and international projects for Chernihiv's young people took place at the Veteran Space hub.

Europe Day is marked on 9 May in Ukraine and EU member states as a symbol of unity around shared democratic values, respect for human rights, the rule of law, and peace. On the eve of the occasion, Chernihiv hosted the round table "European Integration: New Opportunities for Chernihiv's Youth" at the Veteran Space economic hub. The event was organised by the Department of International Relations and Investment together with the Department of Family, Youth and Sport Affairs of the Chernihiv City Council. Participants discussed the most relevant avenues available to the city's young people, including educational programmes, exchanges, and involvement in international projects, all viewed through the lens of Ukraine's European integration path.
