At around 9:00 a.m., a call came in to the emergency line 102 reporting that a woman was inside a locked apartment and appeared to be in distress, with the caller unable to gain entry to the residence. With a relative's consent, rescuers used a ladder to reach the apartment via the balcony and unlocked the front door. Inside, patrol officers found a woman who had fallen and was unable to stand up unaided. Together with paramedics, the officers helped carry the woman on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance. She was taken to hospital to receive the necessary medical care. The emergency services remind the public that every minute counts in a critical situation. If you need help, call the relevant emergency number: 101 (fire service), 102 (police), or 103 (ambulance).
