Yesterday, at around 1:00 p.m., patrol officers conducting a road check on Teroborony Street pulled over a Renault Kangoo for a traffic violation. During the stop, inspectors noticed visible signs of intoxication in the 53-year-old male driver. The man agreed to an on-site breathalyser test using a Dräger device. The result came back at 2.51 promille — nearly 13 times the permitted limit. Officers also established that the vehicle had not undergone its mandatory technical inspection. Patrol police drew up administrative reports against the driver under two articles of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences: – Article 130 — operating a vehicle while intoxicated; – Article 121 — violation of vehicle operation rules. The driver was removed from behind the wheel, and the car was towed to a designated impound lot.
