Yesterday, at around 3:00 p.m., patrol officers pulled over a Mercedes-Benz on Shevchenko Street for a traffic violation. During the interaction, the driver unexpectedly drove off without warning. Police gave chase. Throughout the pursuit, the driver continued to break traffic rules: he ignored repeated orders to stop, violated pedestrian crossing regulations, disregarded road markings, and failed to use turn signals when changing direction. Officers eventually boxed in the vehicle on Mykhailo Hrushevsky Avenue. Administrative charges were filed against the driver, and he was prohibited from operating the vehicle.
