Representatives of Chernihiv Oblast Communities Study Social Services Experience in Bukovyna

Deputy Mayor of Chernihiv Viktoriia Pekur and representatives of seven communities from Chernihiv Oblast visited Chernivtsi Oblast to study practical models of social services for children and families.

Representatives of seven communities from Chernihiv Oblast completed a two-day working visit to Chernivtsi Oblast to examine how social services are organized in the region. Chernihiv City Territorial Community was represented at the visit by Deputy Mayor Viktoriia Pekur. The participants visited social facilities in Chernivtsi, Luzhany, and Khotyn, where they familiarized themselves with practical models of supported living, day care, assistance to families with children, and shelter operations. During the visit, they met with local specialists and observed the organization of social services directly on site. Following the exchange of experience, the community representatives plan to adapt the most effective solutions to the needs of residents of Chernihiv Oblast.
