On 31 August 2026 at 5:20 p.m., the municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal shut off water supply following a break in a 50 mm diameter water main at 17 Tykha Street. According to network records, the pipeline is privately owned, with U.P. Prokhorenko listed as the owner. The following addresses have been left without water: — Tykha Street: buildings No. 4 through 34 (even numbers) and No. 9 through 33 (odd numbers); — Tykhy Avenue: buildings No. 2 through 18; — Oleksandra Dovzhenka Street: No. 18A and No. 24; — Starostryzenska Street: No. 16. Delivery of drinking water to the affected area will be provided. Because the pipeline is privately owned, repair works may be carried out either by the owner independently or by Chernihivvodokanal upon a formal request and payment for services at current rates. For inquiries, residents may call the utility's free helpline: 0 800 50 50 51. Residents are advised to stock up on drinking water in advance.
