A group of poachers has been exposed on the Desna River within Chernihiv Oblast after officers caught them using an electric device to illegally catch fish, including catfish. Electrofishing is a prohibited method that causes serious harm to fish populations and the river's ecosystem. Law enforcement officers recorded the violation and took appropriate action. The individuals caught at the scene now face liability under current Ukrainian legislation.
