Two fires broke out in residential apartments in Chernihiv. In one of the cases, a woman was poisoned by carbon monoxide and was hospitalised by emergency medical personnel. The details of both incidents are still being established. Rescuers are reminding city residents of the importance of keeping heating equipment and ventilation systems in proper working order, and of the need to install carbon monoxide detectors in residential premises.
