Return After Going AWOL: Simplified Procedure for Military Personnel Available Until September 20

Military personnel who have been absent without leave have the opportunity to use a simplified return procedure until September 20.

A simplified return procedure for military personnel who have gone absent without leave (AWOL) is in effect in Ukraine until September 20. This also applies to residents of Chernihiv and Chernihiv Oblast currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Military personnel who take advantage of this opportunity within the specified timeframe will be able to return to active duty under an eased procedure. For more detailed information on the conditions and steps involved, servicemembers are advised to contact their respective military units or reach out through official channels of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
