Emergency Water Shutdown at 46 Nezalezhnosti Street in Chernihiv

A pipe burst on the water supply inlet has left the apartment building at 46 Nezalezhnosti Street without water. Service is expected to be restored by 19 August 2026.

On 14 August 2026 at 9:30 a.m., Chernihivvodokanal shut off the water supply to 46 Nezalezhnosti Street following a burst on a 65 mm diameter water inlet pipe. The nine-storey residential building at that address has been left without running water. Restoration of supply is expected by 19 August 2026. During the repair works, drinking water will be delivered to residents of the building. Chernihivvodokanal has asked residents for their understanding regarding the temporary inconvenience.
