During curfew patrol duties, Chernihiv police officers identified two drunk drivers of two-wheeled vehicles. On Levka Lukianenka Avenue, inspectors pulled over an unregistered moped with no licence plate. The rider turned out to be a 17-year-old who showed visible signs of alcohol intoxication. A Drager breathalyser test recorded 1.14 per mille. The teenager also had no driving licence. His mother was called to the scene. In the second case, officers stopped a Spark motorcycle ridden by a 20-year-old man. His breathalyser result came in at 1.44 per mille. He likewise had no driving licence. Administrative violation reports were drawn up against both offenders, they were removed from operating their vehicles, and the vehicles were towed to an impound lot.
