Water Main Break Cuts Supply to Two Buildings on Pyatnytska Street

A breakdown on a temporary water pipeline on Pyatnytska Street on 4 August left residents of buildings No. 47 and No. 49 without water. Supply is expected to be restored by 17:00 on 5 August, with drinking water delivery arranged in the meantime.

Water supply to buildings No. 47 and No. 49 on Pyatnytska Street in Chernihiv had been restored at 15:00 on 4 August 2026, but just two hours later, at 17:00, a breakdown occurred on the temporary pipeline serving those addresses. Repairs required an immediate shutdown of the water supply. The municipal utility Chernihivvodokanal will arrange drinking water delivery to affected residents for the duration of the repair works.
