Chernihiv Detention Centre Fraudsters to Face Trial After Investigation Concluded

Police in Chernihiv Oblast have sent to court a case against a group of individuals who, while held in the Chernihiv pre-trial detention centre, ran a scheme to defraud members of the public.

Investigators from the investigative division of the Chernihiv Oblast police have completed a pre-trial investigation into a criminal case involving a group of people implicated in fraud. Despite being in custody at the Chernihiv pre-trial detention centre, the suspects organised and operated a scheme to steal money from ordinary citizens.
