On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, an inspector from the educational safety service joined the police bicycle patrol to hold an interactive road safety event for children attending a local summer camp. During the session, young participants reviewed the key rules for cyclists in an accessible way, learned about the importance of protective gear, and had the chance to try on equipment. The children also showed off their cycling skills, navigated a specially prepared obstacle course, and completed a short ride around the school grounds. Symbolically, it was on this same day that the bicycle patrol began its first street patrol of the season. The children were eager to examine the officers' service bikes and chatted with the inspectors about their daily work. The event wrapped up with a themed activity called "Traffic Light," which helped participants reinforce their knowledge of traffic signals and safe road behaviour.
