Patrol police officers are continuously monitoring drivers' compliance with vehicle stopping and parking regulations throughout Chernihiv. Special attention is given to spots marked with the disability access sign. For many people, these designated spaces are not simply a convenience — they are a necessary condition for unobstructed access to hospitals, government institutions, and their own homes. Police are calling on drivers not to occupy specially designated spaces without a lawful basis. Spending a few extra minutes searching for an available parking spot is no reason to deny accessibility to those who genuinely need it. Law enforcement officers emphasize that respect for others begins with responsible decisions in ordinary, everyday situations.
