'Tasty Chernihiv Region': Cucumber Soup from Khalyavyn Now on a Chernihiv Restaurant Menu

For one month, visitors to a Chernihiv restaurant can try ohurechnyk — a traditional dish from the village of Khalyavyn, made according to a recipe shared by local resident Liubov Herashchenko.

As part of the 'Tasty Chernihiv Region' project, an authentic dish has appeared on the menu of a Chernihiv restaurant: ohurechnyk, a traditional cucumber soup from the village of Khalyavyn. The recipe was contributed by Khalyavyn resident Liubov Herashchenko. The restaurant's head chef, Oleksii Anishchenko, noted that the initiative aims to remind guests of the value of age-old local recipes that remain just as relevant today. The dish will be available for one month.
