Chernihiv patrol officers assist crash victims in two incidents on M-01 highway

Officers provided first aid to an injured motorcyclist near Yahidne and helped free a trapped minibus passenger near the village of Prohres.

Chernihiv patrol police officers assisted victims of two separate road accidents on the M-01 highway (Kyiv–Chernihiv–Novi Yarylovychi) within the span of two days. The first incident occurred the day before yesterday at around 11:00 a.m. near the village of Yahidne. Officers witnessed a collision between a Tekken motorcycle and a Honda Passport car. They examined the injured motorcyclist, monitored his condition until an ambulance crew arrived, and helped transport him to the emergency vehicle. The second incident took place yesterday morning near the village of Prohres. Two passenger minibuses — a Renault Master and a Mercedes-Benz — collided, leaving one passenger trapped between the seats in the rear of the vehicle. Patrol officers, together with bystanders, quickly freed the man and handed him over to paramedics. Police are urging drivers to stay focused on road conditions and to strictly observe traffic regulations.
