Water main break on V. Hantsova Street leaves houses No. 3–16 and 18 without water supply

Water supply to private homes on V. Hantsova Street in Chernihiv was cut off at 9:30 p.m. on 9 May 2026 following a burst on the pipeline near house No. 6. Drinking water delivery has been arranged for affected residents.

On 9 May 2026, at 9:30 p.m., water supply was suspended for residents of private houses No. 3–16 and No. 18 on V. Hantsova Street in Chernihiv. The outage was caused by a break in the water main near house No. 6. The pipeline is privately owned, so all repair work is being carried out and funded by the network's owner. To ensure residents have access to drinking water during repairs, a water delivery service has been organised.
