Casualty toll from Russian strike on central Chernihiv rises to five

Two more people sought medical attention following the Russian missile strike on central Chernihiv on 5 May, bringing the total number of casualties to five. All five have been diagnosed with blast-wave barotrauma.

The number of people injured as a result of the Russian Federation's strike on the centre of Chernihiv on 5 May has risen to five, after two additional individuals sought medical care following the incident. All five casualties have been diagnosed with acoustic barotrauma — traumatic damage to the hearing organs and other body systems caused by exposure to a blast wave. All necessary medical assistance has been provided in full.
