On the morning of August 26, a Russian UAV struck a residential building in Chernihiv. At the moment of impact, a woman and her two children were hiding in the building's basement. As a result of the attack, a 39-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter were killed. A 14-year-old girl sustained burns and was hospitalised. Eyewitnesses to the tragedy described the sequence of events and the aftermath of the strike in a report by Ukraine's public broadcaster.
