MP Honcharenko to seek fitness review of Chernihiv military recruitment chief over BMW scandal

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Oleksiy Honcharenko has announced his intention to submit a formal request calling for a review of the fitness for duty of the head of the Chernihiv Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre (TRC). The move follows reports that the senior official was using a BMW car, which Honcharenko described as unacceptable conduct for the leader of an institution responsible for mobilising citizens. The MP stated that the official should be dismissed and sent to serve on the front line. Details of the formal request and any official response from the Chernihiv TRC have not yet been made public.
