Patrol police in Chernihiv stopped a driver found to be in a state of alcohol intoxication. When officers checked his documents, it emerged that the man had never obtained a driver's license at all — meaning he had no legal right to operate a vehicle. The offender was immediately removed from the car. Under current Ukrainian legislation, he faces administrative liability for driving under the influence as well as for operating a vehicle without a valid license. Chernihiv Patrol Police reminded all drivers that getting behind the wheel while intoxicated or without the required documents is strictly prohibited.
