A vehicle displaying a "Student Driver" sign indicates that the person behind the wheel is still learning to drive. Such a driver may travel more slowly, perform manoeuvres hesitantly, or need more time to assess the traffic situation. When you spot a training vehicle, police recommend the following: • Maintain a safe following distance. • Avoid sudden manoeuvres and dangerous overtaking. • Reduce your speed in good time. • Refrain from honking or taking any action that could distract or put additional pressure on the learner. Police are urging all drivers to be attentive, patient, and responsible. Road safety starts with mutual respect.
