What to Do During a Drone Attack Threat: Safety Rules

Authorities have issued guidance on how residents should act when an air raid alert is declared due to the threat of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles remains particularly pressing. When an air raid siren sounds, residents must proceed to the nearest shelter as quickly as possible and remain there until the all-clear signal is given. If you are outdoors, head immediately to the nearest protective structure. If reaching one is not possible, move away from glass-fronted buildings, public transport stops, petrol stations, and lightweight structures. If you are driving, bring your vehicle to a safe stop, leave the car, and make your way to the nearest shelter on foot. If you are indoors, move to the nearest shelter as quickly as possible. If that is not an option, stay in the most protected part of the building. Should you discover debris or a downed drone, keep a safe distance and report the find by calling 101 or 102. During periods of information silence, refrain from sharing photographs or videos of strike locations, falling debris, or drone flight paths.
