Summer heat poses a serious challenge not only for people but also for stray animals. A simple bowl of clean water can save the lives of four-legged creatures on the hottest days. City residents are asked to follow a few straightforward tips: leave a container of water in a shaded and quiet spot, refill it twice a day — in the morning and in the evening — and, where possible, leave out some food as well. A few minutes of attention and care can make a significant difference to the lives of street animals during the hot season.
